It has been another eventful month for LGBTQ+ communities across the continent, as sobering news and alarming developments were tempered by the resolve and resourcefulness of ordinary people.
Fatteh reported on Burkina Faso’s move to join more than 30 other African countries in criminalising homosexuality. Elsewhere, the corridors of power were teeming with the usual hostile forces but there were also a few signs of hope.
